The Hybridserver board manufacturing requires very strict specifications due to a huge number of high speed signals with a 12 - 18 layer circuit board. These are multiple times impedance controlled and built with high tech materials normally used in RF or satellite PCBs.
Extensive use of 0201 components is a must due to space and speed requirements with a big placement count and very small component footprints overall.
The Hybridserver system requires less servicing by ignoring dead or malfunctioned mainboards by it’s multi node system design.
It is possible to compensate for these by using other available nodes which were either in deep sleep or flagged as spare. Hybridserver gives the customer a true hardware redundancy.
The modular design of Hybridserver System is setup for easy adoption in any kind of datacenter or computational infrastructure. The boards can be paired and rearranged in different varieties.
Successor generations of Hybridservers as well as conventional servers can easily be integrated in the same datacenter. Hybridserver is fully flexible and comes as a custom-made hardware with system management software of universal standards, like LINUX, XEN Hypervisor and more.

1 WHAT IS HS1?
The founders of Hybridserver created a unique and multi-patented technology of hardware and software that was entirely built from scratch. Its performance is based on numerous factors, which did not take place in one step but followed a learning and requirement curve over many years. Fueled by the experience and studies in supercomputer hardware, low language programming, physics and web business development the team incorporates.
2 WHY DID WE BUILD THE HYBRIDSERVER?
Problem is the rapid expansion of the internet and its linked technologies, which consume more and more data in less time. At this expansion rate the requirements for computing power and data throughput for servers rise intensively. The server development, which is essentially based on 30 year old x86 chips can't keep up with this expansion within reason. The consequences are extremely high costs for large and complex computer systems (500+ Mio. USD per datacenter) and an exclusive elite of giant internet companies that control most of today's backbone technology. As a workaround customers are about to rent high performance servers for a strict calculated budget or buy outdated hardware to build up inefficient systems.
Experiencing that kind of distracted trend from the customers point of view we were forced to look out for something new and game-changing.
3 NETWORK OPTIONS?
Due to the modular nature of the system design it is possible to incorporate a vast variety of network or storage connectivity in one machine. Another exemplary constellation could be to use one fiber channel connector along 4 regular RJ45 sockets of up to 1 Gbit/s.
Storage is intended to be external but not limited to this option and could be provided locally by using a Flashnetboard which comes with dedicated Flash Memory or possibly a SDHC slot. Another option would be to add up to 8 SATA/SAS connectors.
5 WHAT IS NEXT?
The Hybridserver hardware development department is working on several server options for different branches. We are willing to conquer any kind of market where high computing power is paired with less space and a low energy footprint. For example Automotive, Aerospace, Financial, Medical, Entertainment, Bio-tech and others with servers of smartphone dimension to big supercomputer installations. Our teams are also working on multiple successor chips to secure the pole position for the fastest and most efficient computing system for decades.
6 WHAT IS THE HYBRIDSERVER SUPER-PARALLELIZATION?
Our team has initiated research and development at the very heart of a server – the CPU. We managed to ideally resolve the parallelism problem and getting very close to the maximal theoretical performance of a heterogeneous chip architecture. Our multi-patented Super-Parallelization can rely on this for universal server applications.
7 WHAT KIND OF SOFTWARE DOES HYBRIDSERVER SUPPORT FOR SUPER-
The Hybridserver Super-Parallelization software runs via a Linux Kernel to secure open source software flexibility and adoption. Our software team adopted NginX to a high grade of Super-Parallelization as well as PHP and MySQL. Generally the software is built modular and can be updated and exchanged easily.
8 CAN I RUN SOFTWARE UNMODIFIED ON HYBRIDSERVER?
HS1 also runs un-optimized software easily, just without the benefits of super-parallelization performance and is therefore fully compatible to new software or other existing server clusters. It still reaches computation performance well above average levels. Within reasonable time frames full optimization for new software will be available for new and existing Hybridserver systems.
